Over the last 30 years, Graham Lawlor has held a variety of sales and management posts in both the UK and overseas. These include major corporations like IBM and BT in the UK and Aliant Group in Canada, where he lived for four years. He was also sales manager for a successful start-up office equipment business, conducted sales and business training, and in recent years has combined his journalism activities with a wide range of business advisory and consultancy activities.

Away from work his interests are mainly sporting. He played Spartan League football for many years before switching to motorcycle racing in 1983 where he notched numerous wins and podium places at mainly Club level during the 80’s and 90’s. These days he sticks to parading at Classic Club meetings but that next racing comeback is always just around the corner! He also snow and water skis, and by complete contrast loves to enjoy a peaceful day’s coarse fishing.
